Another round of heavy snow is on its way.  We're now under a Winter Storm Warning from Noon today through Wednesday Evening.

The Metrorail system will open at 5 a.m. with limited service and may close early depending on weather conditions as more snow and below-freezing temperatures are expected.

The weight of the snow can cause problems but it can also be because of clogged gutters or poor insulation.

Forty above ground Metro stations are closed, with no promise as to when they may re-open.  Buses are limited to emergency snow routes
